How do TAN‘N’GO Sunless Products Work?
The DHA (dihydroxyacetome) is the component that creates the longer term effect.  The DHA is a safe, simple molecule that has been used for decades.  When applied to the skin DHA reacts with proteins and amino acids in the skin’s superficial layer to form a golden brown colour.   It will begin to darken in 2-3 hours after application but reaches its peak colour in 24 hours.

How long will my tan last?
It can last from 3 to 10 days.  It is different for everyone.  It all depends on your skin and how you care for it following the tanning session.  Sunless Tan produces colour on the outermost layer of the skin, and that layer is being discarded, cell by cell.  As these cells are discarded, your tan fades.  Long baths or showers, hot tubs and swimming pools with chlorine will cause your tan to be short lived.

What kind of results can I expect?
Sunless Tan is suitable for all skin types and it is a colourless application.  There are no orange undertones, it is odourless and fades evenly.

Is TAN‘N’GO Tanning mist safe for pregnant ladies or nursing mothers?
There is nothing specific in the product that would cause a problem.  If you have a concern, consult your physician.

Does Sunless Tan contain a sunscreen?
No.  The tan appearing you experience from TAN‘N’GO Sunless Tan does not prepare you for going into the natural sun.  While you will be a golden bronze colour you must approach naturally tanning as if you were absolutely pale.

How should I prepare my skin prior to a Sunless Spray Tan and how do I maintain my tan?
A 3 step program – exfoliate, wash and hydrate.  TAN‘N’GO also provides pre-tan and post tan products to enhance and extend your sunless spray.  For more information, ask your consultant about your tanning regime.

What should I wear during a Sunless Spray Tan application?
This is entirely up to you.  Most people prefer the all over tan, however some prefer to wear underwear or a g-string.  After application it is recommended to wear loose fitting clothing and female clients not to wear bras.  No closed in footwear.

How long does it take to apply Sunless Spray Tan?
It generally takes between 10-15 minutes to apply and dry.  You are then ready to get dressed and leave.  TAN‘N’GO solutions leave no mess, no smell and no-one will even know you are tanning when the solution is first applied.  Quick and easy.
